Most of us work hard most of the time, whether at home or at work, and whether physically or mentally.
There is a constant background noise in our minds that we have learned to become more or less aware of. This noise can take the form of frustrations, anxieties, recurring obstacles, and thoughts that cause discomfort. We learn to stop noticing them, but they drive our behaviours and slow our progress towards living an authentic joyful life each day.
We are busy getting through the day so rarely take enough time to discover new tools, and to consciously adapt and to learn. So we continue on our course, making headway, but slower than necessary.
Yet, like the billions of galaxies scattered across the universe I believe there are golden keys to every conundrum. They hang as if from the sky, invisible yet accessible. But how to reach out and unlock the next door, and fully enjoy the rich tapestry of life? This is where your coaching comes in.
One life is rarely long enough to do everything we want, so we must choose our objectives carefully. Whether to climb Mount Everest or to simply welcome every new day, this is where our journey together begins. I will help you prioritise and identify your most important, and sometimes yet unnoticed, goals.

My coaching style
Each of us is unique and has an exquisitely personal way of viewing the world. I will help you identify the most important parts of your personal map. We will explore your objectives, and current situation. We will explore your attitudes and habits, and figure out which of these help you, why and how you hold on to those that hinder you, and make the changes necessary to replace them with new, helpful, rewarding approaches.
We will choose methods to better communicate with your unconscious mind. This will help you achieve psychological healing and wellness by aligning conscious and unconscious aspects of your personality and, in turn, make the changes you desire.
I will share with you the methods used so you can continue the work long after the coaching and ensure the progress you make is sustainable.

My story before life coaching
Hi, I am Jasper. I’m in my 40s and was born in Bromley, England.
When I was 11 my mum and dad moved from Orpington to live on a disused farm in France. It felt like being airlifted from a life of grey, to a parallel universe, full of colour and happiness. I remember being surprised how much life can be so different, with a single change.
Before I started doing this work, I spent the first 10 years of my career working in Fast Moving Consumer Goods and then Banking industries. The work was challenging, and sometimes exciting and even rewarding. It led me to some amazing people and experiences which I will never forget. But I also knew that I was living the wrong life for me, like being disjointed, ill at ease and unfulfilled on a daily basis.
For the past 15 years, I’ve specialised as a Business Coach and Training Facilitator, helping people in business become more effective in their communication, and maximise their use of effort and time. If you would like to find out more about my career background, please visit my LinkedIn profile.
I am also an experienced sports coach, working with racing and commercial sailing skippers to hone their skills in navigation, seamanship, and leadership.
I love music and reading. I love discovering new information or methods that I can use today and tomorrow. I love to understand how things work, especially when it comes to how our minds work. I love the ocean and being at one with the universe.
My current project: I have sailed for many years and am now preparing to complete a circumnavigation. The project started very recently with the purchase of a small sailing boat, and the first step is to sail across the Atlantic in 2024.

You choose your objective, we agree the regularity (usually weekly to begin, then monthly for an agreed time), and we review at intervals that suit you.
One-page coaching
Short focussed session based on a specific dilemma or question. You will be guided to structure your thoughts and note key points. You leave with ideas on how to progress.
Express coaching
Once we have got to know each other you could choose the option of one-off coaching sessions at intervals or times that suit you.
Come sailing
